CareConnect (aka CareCloud) Short Code Private Policy
CareConnect, also known as CareCloud, is a cloud platform operated by MCT Technology Inc. ("us" "we" or "our") to be used by the organizations serving the child education and care communities ("customers"). Short code SMS is a communication tool used by our customers to send you notifications related to your child's education, care needs, and progress, as well as the verification method for your portal account on CareConnect.
User Consent
By designating your preferred contact method as SMS with your cell number, you agree to the Terms and Conditions of this Privacy Policy and the associated Terms of Service (set forth on here) you expressly consent to the processing of your Personal Information and Anonymous Information according to this Privacy Policy. Your Personal Information may be processed in the country where it was collected, as well as other countries (including the United States) where laws regarding processing of Personal Information may be less stringent than the laws in your country.
Collection and Use of Information
Personal Information
In general, we collect Personal Information that you submit to us voluntarily through our portal account services. This includes information that you submit in the process of creating or editing your account and user profile on Family Portal or Provider Portal. For example, our registration and login process requires you to provide us with your name, valid email address, cell number and password of your choice. If you personalize your profile and use the features of the portal, we will collect any information you voluntarily provide. Our customers may request optional information as part of their service, such as your and your child(ren)'s year of birth, gender and other demographic information, but they are not related to this SMS short code service.
Personal Information from Other Sources
We may receive Personal Information about you from our customers that you are registered with. We may associate this information with the other Personal Information we have collected about you.
Information Collected Via Technology
All messages sent through our communication services, your cell number, message content, and its status logs will only be stored in our database for reporting purposes for our customers.
Third Party Sites and Advertising
We do not share this information with any other sources.
